Personality: Luís has a slightly aggressive personality. Although he is certainly capable of being polite, he is not afraid to be rude to people. Family History (About Character's Parents and siblings): Luís is the second son born to oil and petrochemical billionaire, Manuel de Aviz. Manuel’s first wife, Isabella (from Spain), died giving birth to Miguel. Miguel was a sickly infant and sadly died before his second birthday. Manuel and Maria, a younger sister of Isabella, married in 1987. Maria died after overdosing on prescription drugs in 2003. João developed a relationship with Eleanor, a distant cousin through his mother. However, in 2007, she married Manuel (many years her senior) instead. Also in 2007, Manuel was diagnosed with cancer. In 2008, the cancer spread and was found be terminal. Despite tensions due to the love triangle, the then 19 year old João (now 20) took over his fathers role in the business. Isabel, along with her step-mother, spends a lot of time with Manuel.

Personal History: Luís grew up in Portugal and attended exclusive private schools. Luís lost his virginity to his older brother on his eleventh birthday. Since then he has been sexually active with a variety of people ranging from school friends, to women, to older men and, recently, his younger brother, Fernando. Later in 2003, his mother died and he was totally shattered. Luís is fluent in Portuguese and English, has good control of Spanish and French, can communicate in Italian, and can is studying Arabic. He is very well-travelled through the Americas and Europe (though not much of Eastern Europe). He has also been to Morocco, Tunisia and the UAE. Luís has spent a considerable amount of time in the UK. He is currently enjoying living by himself in a family-owned waterfront apartment in Fulham, London. He calls his younger brothers frequently, checking that they are alright and surviving with neither their parents nor older siblings around much.
